I am a senior surgeon at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. I obtained the fellowship in dental surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993. In 2000 I was recognised as a Specialist in Oral Surgery by the General Dental Council.
I have over 20 years of experience in Head and Neck Surgery and over the past 5 years have developed my interest in the field of Implantology, having now placed approximately 150 dental implants with an excellent success rate.
Since 2002 I have been a committee member of the Exeter & District section of the British Dental Association. In 2004 I became the Chairman of the Hospital's Staff & Associate Specialist Doctors group and is their representative on the British Medical Associations South-west regional committee.
In 2009 I became an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons in England.
I provide the practice with the surgical skills for removing difficult teeth and wisdom teeth and complicated surgical procedures, along with a wealth of knowledge and experience for treating conditions from jaw problems to atypical facial pains.
